(10 April 2017, Hong Kong) Union Medical Healthcare Limited ("Union Medical Healthcare" or the "Company"; together with its subsidiaries, the "Group", SEHK stock code: 2138), a leading aesthetic medical service provider in Hong Kong, is pleased to announce today that based on the latest assessment by the Board with reference to the preliminary unaudited consolidated management accounts of the Group currently available, the Group expects to record an increase of no less than 40% in total sales contracts for the year ended 31 March 2017 compared with that of 2016, which was mainly attributable to the Group's elevated level of services and expanded service mix leading to the increase in the customers' sales contracts, in particular sales contracts from the PRC customers.

In addition, the Group expanded a new medical aesthetic service floor on level 53 of Langham Place in Mong Kok. The gross floor area of the Group's flagship store in Langham Place increased by 18,000 sq. ft. from 55,000 sq. ft. to 73,000 sq. ft., representing an increase of approximately 33%.

Mr. Eddy Tang, Chairman, Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of Union Medical Healthcare said, "The Group has been strengthening its service quality continuously. Following our introduction of dental service in 2014, we further introduced health screening and chiropractic services upon the Group's listing, thereby to diversify the Group's medical services and achieve its long-term goals and aims. During the period, the growth in sales contracts exceeded the Group's expectation, serving as a strong proof of the effectiveness of the Group's one-stop medical and aesthetic services strategy. Leveraging its solid foundation and diversified management capability, we believe that the Group will continue to expand its business coverage and become the consolidator in the medical aesthetic industry. We anticipate that Union Medical Health will continue to grow at a faster pace compared with other industry players. In addition to the opening of a health screening centre in May 2016 following the Group's listing, the Group proactively expanded a new medical aesthetic service floor in its flagship store in Langham Place this year. Union Medical Health is always committed to the highest standard in the industry to provide its customers with professional, safe and efficient medical and aesthetic services to gain reputation. With the aim of assisting our customers to achieve health, beauty and happiness, the Group will continue to expand its market share and generate better returns to investors."
