Hong Kong ice hockey fans had the opportunity to see the Stanley Cup at Ice Palace at Cityplaza for the first time in its 126-year history, with many of Hong Kong’s fast-growing community of hockey players and fans eager to get a close look at the iconic trophy.

This year’s 2018 O.R.G. NHL China Games will be played in Shenzhen Longgang on Saturday, September 15, and in Beijing on Wednesday, September 19. Part of the NHL’s commitment to growing the game globally, Saturday’s game at Universiade Sports Centre will mark the NHL’s debut in Shenzhen.

Said Dan Kim, the NHL’s Senior Vice President Media Distribution and Strategy: “We are delighted to bring the Stanley Cup to Hong Kong for the first time and to meet with some of the many players and fans in Hong Kong’s growing ice hockey community.
