Production teams for Namie Amuro's final tour and MUSE's coming to Taiwan in October

TAIPEI --( ASIA TODAY )-- Taipei Music Conference 2019 "NEXT DIMENSION," organized by the Department of Cultural Affairs, Taipei City Government, opens on Oct. 8. The first keynote speech has invited the team that built the final tour for Namie Amuro - ON THE LINE and Mo-ment Factory - to talk about this monumental concert. The spots for this event were filled moments after the registration began. On the second keynote, Oct. 22, the de-sign teams for MUSE's "Simulation Theory" - Metaform.Studio and Sooner Rae Crea-tive - are joining us to share innovative thoughts. Registration now begins. Taiwan-based pop music industry professionals are welcome to register.

The theme for the second keynote on Oct. 22 is "Crossover Integration: Creating a Future Beyond Imagination." Jesse Lee Stout, Creative Director of Metaform.Studio, and Sooner Routhier, Founder of Sooner Rae Creative, collaborated with British Rock band MUSE on their new album and world tour will be talking about their experience. Based on the artist's concepts, they precisely harnessed the design and application of different fields. From the packaging, promotional photos and music videos of the al-bum to the stage of the concert, VR games, and various merchandises, they made sure stunning aesthetics was applied and resonated with the era and the sci-fi ele-ments the album portraits.

Creative Director, Jesse, mentioned, "The best part of my work is to immerse myself in the artists' music cosmos discovering what makes them lovable to the fans." Jesse will share how he integrated design concepts with MUSE - how to extract the core narra-tives from the ideas; how to gather talents from different fields to set a framework that wouldn't frame ourselves; how can we build a music brand that the value will in-crease. In 2017, he collaborated with Hong Kong singer G.E.M. on her world tour "Queen of Hearts" and has also expressed his love for Asian indie bands, like "No Par-ty for Cao Dong," "Flesh Juicer," etc.

Sooner will be discussing from the perspective of lighting design. She won the Parnelli Awards, known as the most important live performance award in the world, for light-ing design in 2015. Her seasoned knowledge to new lighting designing skills will pro-vide Taiwan-based live performance professionals top-notch experience on practical usage.
