iMTduo Exhibitors Win Business Opportunities by TAITRA Pre-show Online Sourcing Meetings

As Coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to affect the global industrial supply chain, the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) has postponed numerous international B2B trade shows in the first half of this year. To help Taiwanese companies win global business opportunities, TAITRA integrates both local and international resources and provides diversified digital trade services to exhibitors. TAITRA hosted Pre-Show Online Sourcing Meetings for Taipei Intelligent Machinery & Manufacturing Technology Show (iMTduo) along with Taipei Cycle and Taipei Int'l. Sporting Goods Show (TaiSPO) on May 14 of this year. TAITRA invited 37 buyers from 16 countries to meet with 53 Taiwanese companies online for the Pre-Show Online Sourcing Meetings for iMTduo, Taipei Cycle and TaiSPO. Almost 100 meetings were held. These events help cultivate a Taiwanese brand that shines on the world.

iMTduo is tailored for the new generation of manufacturing and industry 4.0. This time, TAITRA invited buyers from Italy, Bulgaria, Singapore, Japan, South Korea and Mainland China. TAITRA hosted online meetings with Taiwanese companies including, Chmer, Tsungling Machinery Technology, Shang Nong Industry, Chulin Machine Tools, Bayestek and others. Among them, Balkantel Ltd., a prominent Bulgarian telecommunications company, expressed its high recognition of the quality of Taiwanese products and will liaise with the manufacturers that met online in the future. The Singapore company FLEXSPEED TECHNOLOGY affirmed TAITRA's efforts to build a digital platform for companies and create more potential business opportunities to break through geographical barriers. NOVAKON, a Taiwanese professional HMI solution provider, met online with buyers from four countries and the results were fruitful. The company will continue to discuss further cooperation with buyers. Bayes, a Taiwanese industrial Internet of Things solution provider, affirmed TAITRA's efforts to organize the event, in creating substantial benefits for the overseas market.
