Feature areas: Optics and Photonics Innovation Hub, Semiconductor Innovation Centre, Capabilities Hub and 3D Printing area
Asia’s Leading Manufacturing Technology Industry Event Returns
In today’s competitive climate, it is more critical than ever for industry players to stay abreast of high impact technological shifts in the manufacturing eco-system. This 21st edition, held from 4 to 7 April 2017 at the Singapore Expo, will expose event attendees to the latest cutting-edge manufacturing technologies and solutions from 400 international exhibitors, which will enable them to not only stay relevant but also ahead of economic and industry transformations.
MTA2017 will also see a slew of regular and new feature areas on the show floor. A key spotlight of MTA, the Capabilities Hub has consistently drawn high levels of interest from high-value sectors such as MedTech, Complex Equipment, Oil & Gas and Medical Technology. Organised in collaboration with the Singapore Institute of Manufacturing Technology (SIMTech), the showcase will provide local parts and components manufacturers with an intrinsic platform to show their competencies, and bridge the gap between professionals from across diverse industry sectors.
Touted as the next wave in advanced manufacturing, 3D printing is now coming of age. The technology has paved the way for the evolution of how parts are designed, developed and manufactured. At MTA, alongside exhibitors who are leading players in the 3D arena, a 3D Printing Technology Tour and 3D Printing Seminar will also be conducted to enrich the experiences for attendees.
Also making their debut are The Optics and Photonics Innovation Hub and The Semiconductor Innovation Centre, offering attendees deep learning through technology showcases and best practices in the field of optics and photonics and advanced semiconductor manufacturing respectively.
MetrologyAsia will once again be held alongside MTA, gathering the top metrology brands from around the world to unveil cutting edge testing, measurement and inspection applications and systems needed for complex and sophisticated manufacturing processes.
Wrapping up the event’s highlights are four conference tracks where delegates can gather insights and updates on industry developments, network and learn from business and technical experts.
