From New York to Beijing in China with the surrealist art of Santiago Ribeiro

Beijing, China --( ASIA TODAY )-- The Portuguese surrealist artist Santiago Ribeiro continues his unstoppable international tour. This time his art debuts in Beijing, China.

The International Exhibition of Contemporary Art "Art Weeks in China" will be the next destination to show Santiago Ribeiro´s art after shows his work in Artifact art space in the center of New York in Manhattan in a very nice exhibition.

Artists from various countries take part in the exhibition. The program aims to familiarize residents of the People’s Republic of China with modern trends in the visual and decorative arts. The project is carried out in preparation for the World Art Forum "ART-GEOGRAPHY", which will feature works by artists on the theme «My country».

Industrial of Apples is the title of the oil painting present in China, traveling, this painting, from Portugal to the cities of Belgrade, then to St. Petersburg in Russia and now to Beijing.

The Portuguese surrealist painter has been dedicated to promoting Surrealism of the 21st century, through exhibitions presented over the last 10 years in various parts of the world.

Ribeiro's art has passed several times through many cities and countries such as Berlin, Moscow, New York, Dallas, Los Angeles, Mississippi, Warsaw, St. Petersburg, Nantes, Paris, London, Florence, Madrid, Granada, Barcelona, Lisbon, Belgrade, Monte Negro, Romania, Japan, Taiwan and Brazil and many cities in Portugal.

The International Exhibition of Contemporary Art "Art Week in China" is organized by the Eurasian Art Union, the World Foundation for the Arts and the Russian Cultural Center in Beijing.

2017 it's time to discover Portugal with Surrealism Now art exhibition shedule to several monuments in this country. Multimedia POROS Museum it´s one of them.

Palaces, museums, art spaces. 2017 "International Surrealism Now" includes more than 100th artists from 48th countries and the list keeps growing.

The new edition of Surrealism Now will be at POROS Museum in Condeixa-a-Nova, Portugal at 17th of September 2017.

International Surrealism Now is a project by the surrealist painter Santiago Ribeiro, who has dedicated himself to promoting the surrealism of the 21st century, through exhibitions worldwide.

The "International Surrealism Now" began in 2010 in Coimbra, when Santiago Ribeiro conceived a major exhibition organized by Bissaya Barreto Foundation. This event has been in Conímbriga celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the Monographic Museum (second most visited museum in Portugal). The show has also been in Paris with the support of GAPP - Art Gallery Portugal Presente and Liba WS, organized once again by the Bissaya Barreto Foundation and Santiago Ribeiro, and in Madrid with the support of Yamal Din. After that it went to Dallas with the support of the American surrealist artist Shahla Rosa.

Lately it has been presented at the medieval Castle of Paço da Ega, organized by Rede de Bibliotecas and House Mayor of Condeixa-a-Nova

At present, the "International Surrealism Now" includes more than 100th artists from 49th countries:

The next editions of International Surrealism Now will be held in United States, Mississipi at Cullis Wade Depot Art Gallery, MSU Welcome Center, it will be in January and February and in Partícula Coimbra, next February, and Multimedia Poros Museum in Condeixa-a-Nova, Portugal 2016.
